QME Care

Senior Management Team

Kelly Brown
Kelly Brown

Chief Executive

Welcome to QME Care and thank you for choosing our services to support you. We are keen that you and your family feel at home here – this is your home and theirs.

You will be allocated to a named Health Care Assistant (Key Worker) and they will be responsible for ensuring all your needs are met.

Our philosophy of care is one that aims to support you in a person centred approach by supporting your overall well-being. A copy of our model of care and support can be found in the welcome pack.

We will be assessing your care and support needs over the next two weeks and a plan of care will be devised. This will be done with the involvement of both you and your family. Once complete, we will check that the plan meets your expectations of how you wish your care to be delivered.

We try to deliver a service around your needs, so while we do have structured meal times, we also offer light meals and snacks outwith these times. In the welcome pack, you will find the times that we serve formal meals and also information on the snacks available.

In your welcome pack, you will also find information about our laundry, services available, hairdressers, activities, etc.

We encourage and welcome ongoing family participation and feedback to ensure we are providing the most tailored and person centred approach to your care at all times.

We hope that you and your family will feel at home at QME Care. If you do need any information, please ask any of the staff team, who will be able to assist.

Hello I’m Caroline Cleland, lead nurse at queens house QME Care. My passion for nursing began a long time ago, I am proud to work in the Health Sector, despite there being many challenges the role can entail. Our goal is to ensure prompt effective care is delivered. I also work closely with Pam Elwood, Lead Nurse Murray/Evanthea houses, often pulling our clinical skills together to come up with solutions to problems.
