QME Care

Activities & Creative Therapy

At QME Care our Activities Co-ordinator Yvonne and Creative Therapists Anne & Holly, organise a rich and varied program of events, where all residents are encouraged to participate to promote health and well-being. The weekly program will include a local harpist, historians, various musicians and singing groups, gardening, various crafts, trips to the garden centre in addition to many seasonal activities such as Christmas, Easter and Summer Fayres.

One of the highlights of the year is the annual visit of the Kelso Laddie each July reminding residents of local traditions. Residents are regular prize winners at the local Border Union Show in the Arts and Crafts classes and our regular tea dances are always well attended.
