QME Care

Respite Care

At QME Care, our respite care service provides flexible, short-term support within a safe, welcoming, and fully supported environment. Whether for a few days or several weeks, respite care offers valuable time for individuals and peace of mind for their families and carers.

Respite stays can be arranged for a variety of reasons. This may include recovery following illness or a hospital stay, providing a break for family carers, or simply offering an opportunity to experience life at QME Care before making a longer-term decision.

From the moment someone arrives, our team works to ensure a smooth and comfortable transition. We take time to understand individual needs, preferences, and routines, creating a personalised care plan that ensures the same high standard of care as our permanent residents receive.

During their stay, individuals are encouraged to take part in daily life within the home, including activities, social opportunities, and access to our facilities and outdoor spaces. This helps to create a positive and engaging experience, supporting both wellbeing and confidence.

Our respite care service is designed to be flexible and responsive, adapting to each individual’s needs while providing reassurance, comfort, and high-quality care throughout their stay.

At QME Care, respite care is not just about short-term support, it’s about providing a positive, enriching experience in a caring and supportive environment.

To book your self-funded respite stay with us, please call us on 01573 224886 or email us at [email protected]. We recommend getting in touch as early as possible, as respite stays are often booked up quickly.
