QME Care

Younger Adult Care (18+)

At QME Care, we understand that younger adults have different needs, expectations, and aspirations when it comes to care. Our Younger Adult Care service is specifically designed to support adults aged 18 and over who require nursing or complex care, within an environment that is both supportive and age-appropriate.

Based within Evanthea House, this service provides care for individuals living with a range of conditions, including physical disabilities, neurological conditions, and complex health needs. Our aim is to create a space where younger adults feel comfortable, respected, and able to live as independently as possible.

We take a person-centred approach to care, working closely with each individual to understand their goals, interests, and preferences. Care plans are tailored to support not only health needs, but also lifestyle choices, personal development, and social engagement.

Maintaining independence is a key focus of our service. We encourage and support individuals to take an active role in their daily lives, whether that’s through hobbies, social activities, or maintaining connections with family and friends.

We also recognise the importance of creating a sense of community. Our team fosters an inclusive and supportive environment where individuals feel valued and empowered, with opportunities to build relationships and engage in meaningful experiences.

At QME Care, our Younger Adult Care service is about enabling individuals to live full and purposeful lives, with the right level of support always in place.

To apply and be added to our waiting list for a private, self-funded placement, please visit our application page. If you are seeking a local authority-funded placement, please speak with your social worker, who can refer you to us through the appropriate referral process.
