Senior Healthcare Support Worker

We are currently recruiting Senior Health Care Support Worker full time hours are available within QME Care based in Queens, Murray, & Evanthea Houses, a specialist purpose built dementia care unit and residential setting in the Kelso, Scottish Borders. As we continue to develop our unique caring model we are looking for dedicated and caring individuals to join our growing team.

A genuine passion for working with older people, dementia, cognitive condition and high quality care are essential for this compassionate role.

Under the direction and supervision of the Nursing Team and Senior Health Care Support Workers you will attend to the daily care needs (including their personal care needs) of our residents.

We follow a person centred approach to support our residents to be the director of their care.

We are looking for someone who is compassionate, hard working and a team player.

Higher rate salary reflected the enhanced entitlement for weekend working and included holiday entitlement pay.

All our roles work a flexible rota system over a 7 day a week period.

• We offer full training and SVQ Level 3
• Paid breaks and 6% employers pension contribution
• Double time for the festive days and New Year
