QME Care

Welcome to QME Care

Providing the highest standards of residential care since 1954

Mission

Our aim is that people experience life in a care home positively, that they have a voice and they are able to be autonomous.

We are a ‘not for profit’ charity organisation. This means that any funds that we raise go back to the care that we provide, not into our pockets. This is because we want our people to remain at the forefront of everything that we do, by ensuring that our level of care is something that is continuously reviewed.

History

Since 1954 Queen’s House in Kelso has been providing the highest standards of residential care for elderly people in the Scottish Borders. We are proud of the reputation we’ve earned with local families and of the ratings we’ve received from the Care Inspectorate.

Support us

We are a non-profit charitable organisation that was formed to help people live happier, independent, and fulfilled lives. We greatly appreciate any donations to assist with activities, outings, equipment and community resources. Discover how you can make a donation or leave a gift in your Will.

Organisational aims and objectives

To uphold the rights of all people who use our services to ensure that they are at the centre of the care and support which is safe, comfortable, homely and happy.

5 year strategic aims

As an organisation we always look forward to plan our future developments. We recently launched our five-year strategy which focuses on five strategic aims for 2020-2025.
